Visit Three Wineries and Hawkes Bay's newest boutique Ale / Cider House.

  • Learn the history of New Zealand's oldest winery. Walk the grounds, admire the views, study the Historic photographs, including pre-earthquake. Then take time to sample fantastic wines.

  • Take a wine museum tour (New Zealand's only wine museum) set in the old wine vats, study the wax figures and learn the exciting history surrounding the Winery. Learn the wine making process for Reds and Whites. Taste top quality wines, some available at cellar door only.

  • Travel through premium wine growing country, past the famous Gimblett Gravels area on to our third winery. Here you will learn about the Gimblett gravels, the soils etc and sample unique high quality wines.

  • Travel back towards Napier via scenic roads, and discover "The Filter Room" set in the heart of the vineyards. Sample a tasting tray of "any 6 drinks" from a large list. - your first tray of drinks per couple is included.

  • Tea or coffee is also available at the Cider Tree Cafe / Restaurant

  • Drive back to Napier central via the picturesque tree lined coast road. - a great way to finish a great afternoon.

  • The tour concludes with a drop off in the Central City or a return to the original pickup points. 

TWO BREWERIES and TWO WINERIES TOUR OPTION

If you would like to visit 2 wineries and 2 breweries this is also an option. Please add $4.00 per person and select this option when enquiring. all tastings and entrance fees, plus (some) drinks at the Breweries included

  • Taste Wines at the oldest Winery in New Zealand

  • Taste Wines at another Boutique Winery and take a tour of New Zealand's only Winery museum (as above)

  • Visit a Brewery in Hastings, sample some locally brewed "traditional natural batch brewed" beers or local Wines (samples included)

  • Visit the Bays newest Brewery/Cider house and taste a selection of beers, ciders, spirits etc. (a tray of drinks per couple included)

  • We then finish the tour as above. 

  • All this for $94.00 per person.

  • Tour runs from 1.00pm to approx 5.30 - 6.00pm - FREE pick up and drop off to your accommodation within Napier.
